Finding My Light Again
During this difficult season, I turn to the cards to uncover the lessons, support, and inner strength guiding me forward.
It has been quite some time since I sat down and pulled cards for myself.
Life has been heavy lately, and I have been struggling more than I care to admit.
Depression has a way of clouding everything, and sometimes, in those dark moments, we make choices that leave lasting marks on our lives. And I did just that.
Thankfully, things are not as bad as they could be. A truly wonderful person showed up exactly when I needed support the most.
I am so used to carrying everything on my own that having someone extend kindness and help feels like an incredible blessing.
My heart is filled with gratitude and a deep appreciation for the reminder that we do not always have to walk through our hardest seasons alone.
With that being said, let’s shuffle the cards and see what wisdom the tarot has to share.
But first…
Before I reveal the cards I pulled and the messages they held for me, I want to share the TeezTarot Template with you.
I created this spread because I needed guidance, comfort, and a reminder that even in our darkest moments, there is still a light within us waiting to shine.
If you have been carrying heavy emotions, feeling lost, or learning how to accept support from others, this spread may speak to your soul as well.

The Message From Spirit
A final card for any wisdom, encouragement, or reminder your guides, higher self, or intuition want you to remember.
Now then…
You’ve seen the Guiding Light Spread and the intention behind each card position; it’s time to turn the cards over and reveal my own reading.
I created this spread because I am in a deeply challenging season in my life, so sitting down to read for myself feels both vulnerable and necessary.
The messages that came through were incredibly honest, touching on my struggles, my tendency to carry burdens alone, and the unexpected blessings that have appeared along the way.
As always, my interpretation is a reflection of my personal journey and the energies I was experiencing at the time of this reading.
If any part of my story resonates with you, perhaps the cards are holding a message for your own path as well.
With that said, let’s dive into the cards and uncover what the tarot had to say.
Card 1 – The Weight I Carry
Three of Cups + Eight of Swords
At the heart of my struggles is a deep feeling of isolation, even when I am surrounded by people who care.
The Three of Cups reminds me that support, friendship, and connection are available, yet the Eight of Swords shows how depression can make me feel trapped inside my own thoughts.
I may have unintentionally pulled away from others or convinced myself that I have to handle everything alone.
These cards are a powerful reminder that the prison I feel trapped in is not as locked as it seems. Even though I feel alone, I must remember that some people are willing to stand beside me.
Card 2 – The Hidden Wound
Knight of Pentacles
My deeper wound appears to be carrying too much responsibility for too long. Which, hello, clearly.
The Knight of Pentacles is dependable, hardworking, and persistent, but he can become exhausted by constantly being the one who keeps everything together.
This card suggests I have grown accustomed to pushing forward regardless of how I feel emotionally.
This card reveals a belief… I think I always have to be strong, productive, or capable, even when my spirit needs rest.
Card 3 – The Lesson in the Darkness
Moon Reversed + Seven of Pentacles
This difficult season is teaching me clarity and patience.
The Moon reversed indicates that confusion, fears, and hidden emotions are finally beginning to surface so they can be understood and healed.
The Seven of Pentacles reminds me that healing is not immediate. Growth happens slowly, often beneath the surface.
Even when I cannot see progress, seeds are being planted. I must learn to trust the process and recognize that emotional recovery takes time.
Card 4 – The Hand Reaching Toward Me
Queen of Pentacles
What a beautiful card to receive in this position. The Queen of Pentacles represents nurturing, stability, kindness, and practical support.
She often appears as a caring person who steps in during difficult times, someone who provides comfort and reminds me that I am worthy of being cared for.
This card perfectly reflects the gratitude I feel for the person who showed up for me when I needed it most.
It is also a reminder to extend that same compassion toward myself. Which, honestly, is extremely hard for me.
Card 5 – The Part of Me That Needs Nurturing
Five of Wands + King of Wands
My inner fire has been battling itself.
The Five of Wands shows internal conflict, stress, and emotional tension, while the King of Wands represents confidence, passion, and personal power.
The part of me that needs nurturing is my sense of purpose and self-belief.
I need to stop fighting myself and begin trusting my own strength again.
I need to remember that the spark within me has not gone out… It’s simply buried beneath the chaos I created.
Card 6 – The Light I Cannot Yet See
King of Swords + The Sun
These cards are incredibly hopeful to me.
The King of Swords brings truth, wisdom, and mental clarity, while The Sun promises joy, healing, and brighter days ahead. Who doesn’t want that, right?
There is a future version of me that sees this period with greater understanding and recognizes how much strength was gained from it.
This card tells me that clarity is coming, and happiness is not as far away as it may seem. And I could sure use some happiness atm.
Card 7 – My Next Gentle Step
Six of Pentacles
This card encourages me to receive as much as I give.
I have spent a long time being the helper, the giver, and the one who carries everything alone.
The Six of Pentacles teaches the importance of balance. Accept support, lean on those who care, and allow myself to receive kindness without guilt. Which, to be honest, I totally struggle with.
Card 8 – The Star Within
The Empress
My inner strength is beautifully represented by The Empress.
She embodies self-love, abundance, creativity, and nurturing energy. Despite everything I have been through, I still possess a deep ability to care for others and create beauty from pain.
The Empress reminds me that I am entering a season of emotional growth and renewal. I have the power to nurture myself back to life. I just need to do it.
Clarifying Cards
The Magician + Seven of Cups
These cards together carry a profound message.
The Magician says I already possess the tools needed to transform my circumstances.
The Seven of Cups acknowledges that there may be confusion, many possibilities, or uncertainty about which path to take.
It feels like the message is that I do not need to have every answer right now. I simply need to trust my abilities and make choices that align with my truth.
The cards repeatedly emphasize one message… Stop thinking I have to carry everything alone all the time.
Closing this reading…
I can’t help but notice how many of these cards pointed toward the same message… healing does not happen in isolation.
I have spent so much of my life carrying my burdens alone, believing I had to figure everything out by myself.
This spread gently reminded me that accepting support is not a weakness at all. It is part of the healing journey.
Even in my darkest moments, there is still light ahead.
The Sun promised brighter days, the Empress reminded me of my inner strength, and the Magician revealed that I already possess the tools I need to move forward. I may not have all the answers yet, but I am beginning to trust that I am exactly where I need to be.
If you are walking through a difficult season of your own, I hope this reading encourages you to be patient with yourself.
Healing is rarely a straight path, and growth often happens quietly beneath the surface. Allow yourself to receive help, extend yourself grace, and remember that even the smallest spark can become a guiding light.
Thank you for joining me for this deeply personal reading. If this spread resonated with you, I invite you to try the Guiding Light Spread for yourself and see what messages the cards have waiting for you.
Sometimes, the wisdom we seek isn’t found in having all the answers, but in discovering that we are never truly walking our path alone.
